History of the Oakdale Garden Club

In 1929, the Garden Division of the Women's Improvement Club of Oakdale, established 1907, separated from the parent club and became the Oakdale Garden Club.  The Garden Club is affiliated with the Valley Lode District of California Garden Clubs, Inc. and National Garden Club, Inc.

The Oakdale Garden Club is a  non-profit organization dedicated to educating members, along all horticulture lines, in the preservation of natural resources; to increase knowledge and interest in amateur gardening; and to further community interest in gardening
